What a hidden gem! Gorgeous suites, seriously one of the best Marriott location rooms I’ve stayed in. The overall ambiance, design, and decor in the hotel is also very attractive. Location is perfect, right in the town square surrounded by shops, restaurants, and attractions. The staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly. Breakfast was delicious and open later than most hotels. Would 100% recommend!
I'm pretty perplexed about reading some of the reviews. Yes, this Fairfield Inn and Suites is not in the suburbs, it's in a really cool part of the city of Keene. We arrived and went inside to find out how to bring our luggage in. It is a bit tricky if you want to use a luggage cart and get in the front door. But there is a ramp. We simply brought our luggage up the ramp (without a cart) and left it in the lobby until we had everything there. We checked in and took the elevator to our room. Then we came downstairs and moved the car to the parking garage behind the building. There is a special place for hotel guests to park. Now we didn't see an elevator where we exited the garage, but we have no mobility issues and walked down one flight of stairs and across a short parking lot to the back entrance (also with a ramp) to enter the hotel again. Our room faced the main street. Other commented about noise. We felt our room was quiet. Our room was very spacious and a lot of windows. It was very pleasant. It was clean and very nice. Michael checked us in and he was very friendly and helpful. I wish I had gotten the name of the young man who managed the complimentary breakfast area the two mornings we were there. The selection was excellent. Everything was clean and there were also some nice touches of seasonal decorations. We wouldn't hesitate to stay in this Fairfield Inn and Suites again...not at all!!!
We stayed overnight for Keene Pride 2025 in the bi-level loft room. It’s a gorgeous room that’s incredibly spacious and very quiet; we didn’t hear a single sound from outside our room at any point. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, getting us in half an hour ahead of our early check-in with no issue, and allowing us a last minute late checkout with just a 30 second phone call. The complimentary breakfast was great with a variety of options in a quiet room away from the lobby, which gave us a very relaxing start to our Monday trip back. Highly recommended and would absolutely stay here again without hesitancy.

What a wonderful hotel. I travel the world for work and rarely do you find such a quaint, friendly, historical hotel such as this Fairfield inn Keene, NH. Stacy is absolutely the salt of the Earth, and the most helpful and friendly hotel employee I've ever encountered in my 28 years of travel. Do not hesitate to stay in this wonderful hotel, with a great location and amazingly friendly staff.
We just spent the last two nights at this hotel. My wife and I loved the place and all the staff was very friendly. The courtesy breakfast was excellent. Real eggs!!! Omelets, roasted home fries. Fresh fruit and all the typical continental style selections. Everything was very clean. The only slight criticism would be that the mattress was “okay” and the pillows need to be upgraded. If the pillows were more luxury, the mattress would have been less noticeable. . Highly recommend staying here. We will definitely return when we are in the area!!! Andy and Stacy
Our favorite place to stay in Keene! We come multiple times to visit extended family and this location is ideal. It’s clean, quirky, and beautiful! Mike at the front desk is incredible. He is kind, accommodating and patient. We will absolutely be back and tell everyone we know to do the same! Thank you Mike!
Great location, amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Rooms a bit dated and could use some work (clogged sink, no fan in the small bathroom, elevator EXTREMELY slow and no access to stairs from the bottom floor, so you’re forced to take it up to your room. Overall would stay again - the location is walking distance to anything you could want to reach in Keene.
